🗓️ How to create a scheduled session?

To create a session:
- Go to the “Scheduled Sessions” section and click “Create session”
- Fill in the game, time, description, and other preferences
- Optionally, enable a Discord voice channel for the session
- Once published, players will be able to join your team
🎮 How to join a scheduled session?

To join:
- Browse available sessions on the platform
- Click “Join team” to reserve your spot
- If a voice channel is enabled, make sure your Discord is connected
- Some games require linking your gaming ID (e.g., Epic Games for Fortnite)
🔔 Do I get notified before a session starts?

Yes! All team members receive a reminder 10 minutes before the session starts.
🌍 How does timezone work for sessions?
+
The session time is always displayed in your local timezone. Double-check it to avoid confusion.
🔔 How do notifications work on Teamplay?
+
Teamplay helps you stay up to date with everything that matters — from new replies and team invites to upcoming sessions.
Notifications can be delivered via email, browser push, in-site bell icon, Discord DMs, or our official server.
✅ Types of notifications we currently support:
- Email notifications
Receive key updates in your inbox.
🔐 If you registered with email and password, make sure to verify your email to receive them.
- Push notifications (Browser + PWA)
Real-time alerts via browser or after installing the PWA.
✅ Supported on Chrome, Firefox, Edge (desktop), Android, and iOS via PWA.
❗ Not supported in Incognito mode or Safari on macOS.
- On-site notifications (Bell icon)
Saved and accessible any time while logged in. - Discord DM notifications<
Connect Discord to receive updates in DMs. - Discord role-based notifications

🎧 How to enable voice chat when creating an LFG post or session?

When creating an LFG post or scheduling a session, enable the option “Create Discord voice channel.” A private voice channel will be created on our official Discord server once the post goes live.
👥 How do I invite teammates to the voice channel?

Your voice channel appears in the Discord widget on the post/session page. Users can request to join, and you manage them via the “Incoming Requests” panel. You can also invite users who commented on your post.
🔐 Who can join the voice channel?

- Only registered users can join.
- If you're hosting a session, all joined teammates are automatically granted access.
❌ How to remove someone from the voice channel?

Click the “X” next to their name in the widget. Removed users can’t re-request access unless you re-invite them manually.
👤 How many people can join the voice channel?

Voice channels support up to 7 users. The channel will automatically expire if it’s empty for 30 minutes.
🗑️ How do I delete the voice channel?

Either edit your post/session and uncheck the voice channel option, or delete the post/session entirely.
📲 How to install Teamplay as an app (PWA)?

You can install Teamplay on your device just like a regular app — no app store needed. It works on most modern mobile and desktop browsers.

📱 On Android (Chrome, Edge, etc.)
- Open teamplay.gg
- Tap the menu icon (⋮)
- Select “Add to Home screen”
- Confirm the installation
🍎 On iPhone (Safari only)
- Open teamplay.gg in Safari
- Tap the Share icon
- Tap “Add to Home Screen”
- Tap Add
❗ Safari only — other iOS browsers don’t support installing PWAs.
💻 On desktop (Chrome, Edge, etc.)
- Visit teamplay.gg
- Click the install icon in the address bar
- Confirm installation
- Teamplay opens in its own window
