TEAMPLAY LLC does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If You are under the age of 13, please do not submit any personal data to us. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide personal data without their permission. Data We collect automatically

Log data

Each time You visit our Platform, our system automatically records data from the visiting device and stores it in a so-called log file. Among other purely technical information, this includes both device information and IP address (identification of the user's device). The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest.

Content Delivery Network

We use our own Content Delivery Network (CDN) to distribute our Platform. A CDN is a network of regionally distributed servers via the Internet. When our Platform is visited, Your device`s browser transmits information which is collected in corresponding server log files. Server log files are generally anonymised and then transmitted without any personal reference. Server log files however include, besides technical information, device information and the IP address of the visiting device. The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest.

Hosting

To provide our Platform, We use the services of Hetzner Online GmbH  and as such process all data to be processed in connection with the operation of our Platform on Hetzner`s servers. The legal basis for the data processing is our legitimate interest in providing our Platform.

Virtual/ Cloud Server

In the course of our business and Platform operations, We process data in our Armenia based HQ, and this data is generally transferred to our Hetzner Online GmbH Virtual/ Cloud Server server.

Third-party services and content

We use content or service offers of third-party providers on the basis of our legitimate interests in order to integrate their content and services ("services"). This always requires that the third-party providers of this content are aware of the IP address of the user, as without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to their browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content.

Data We collect directly

Contacting us

In addition to your name, e-mail address, IP address or telephone number, if provided, We usually collect the context of your message which may also include certain Personal Data. The Personal Data collected when contacting us is to handle your request and the legal basis is both your consent and contract.

We are present on social media. If you contact or connect with us via social media Platforms, We and the relevant social media Platform are jointly responsible for the processing of your data and enter into a so-called joint controller agreement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, your consent or, in some cases, the initiation of a contract.

Registration

As part of the registration process, users provide their a) Username; b) E-mail; c) Password. The data provided will be used for the purposes of creating and using the account and providing and/or using our services.

Alternatively, you are able to sign up using the convenience login and sign up from Google LLC, Discord, Steam or VKontakte. For convenience login and sign up, you will be asked to provide your basic information (i.e., name, email address, and display picture) linked to your account. When registering via our convenience function, you agree to the relevant terms and conditions and consent to certain data from your respective profile being transferred to us.

In the context of the use of our registration and convenience log in and sign up as well as the use of the user account, the legal basis for the data processing is the fulfillment of our contractual obligations and, in individual cases, the fulfillment of our legal obligations as well as consent.

Profile

As a registered user, you have the opportunity to create a user profile with just a few clicks and details. If you make use of the option, the relevant profile data you provide will be transferred to your profile. Of course, you can change the information at any time via the settings in your profile. The legal basis for the processing of your Personal Data is the establishment and implementation of the user contract for the use of the service. We store the data until you delete your user account.

When using our services

We process the data of our registered users in order to be able to provide our contractual services as well as to ensure the security of our services and to be able to develop it further.

The legal basis for the data processing is the fulfillment of our contractual obligations and, in individual cases, the fulfillment of our legal obligations as well as your consent.

Information that We receive from others

In addition to the information you provide to us directly, We receive information about you from others, including other users who provide us with information about you when they use our Services. For example, We may receive information about you from other users when you contact them about us. We collect information about your activities on our Services, such as how you use them (e.g., the date and time you logged in, features you used, searches you performed, clicks and pages you were shown, ratings you clicked on) and how you interact with other users (e.g., users you connect and interact with, the time and date of your exchanges).

Discord integration

We also offer Discord integration via the Discord API, this allows users to create and join private Discord voice channels directly on our Platform. When using Discord various types of data are processed and shared with both Discord and the Channel Admin. We do not record or process any voice recordings but merely offer the seamlessly integrated use of Discord`s offer. The scope of the data processed by both Discord and the Channel Admin depends on the information you provide before or during the online meeting. Insofar We are processing technical data as a result of your use of Discord`s API, the processing bases are your consent as well as our legitimate interest.

Notifications

We use the Google Firebase developer Platform provided by Google LLC for notifications. Firebase's key security and privacy information can be found here. The notifications We send you may include posts, favorite posts and replies to their comments etc. You can adjust or stop receiving notifications at any time via your profile settings.The legal basis for the data processing is the fulfillment of our contractual obligations and, in individual cases, the fulfillment of our legal obligations as well as your consent.

Administration, financial accounting, office organization, contact management

We process data in the context of administrative tasks as well as organization of our business, and compliance with legal obligations, such as archiving. In this regard, We process the same data that we process in the course of providing our contractual services. The processing bases are our legal obligations and our legitimate interest.

Marketing

Insofar as you have given us your separate consent to process your data for marketing and advertising purposes, We are entitled to contact you for these purposes via the communication channels you have given your consent to.

Within Teamplay, those that need Your data to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations will receive access to it.

Processors used by us may also receive data for these purposes. These are companies in the categories of IT services, telecommunications, and sales and marketing. Where We use processors to provide our services, We take appropriate legal precautions and corresponding technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data in accordance with the relevant legal provisions.

Data is only passed on to third parties within the framework of legal requirements. We only pass on users' data to third parties if this is necessary, for example, for contractual purposes or on the basis of legitimate interests in the economic and effective operation of our business or You have consented to the transfer of data.

How long will my data be stored?

As far as necessary, We process and store your personal data for the duration of our business relationship, unless the processing purpose is valid.

In addition, We are subject to various storage and documentation obligations, which result from the minimum statutory retention periods. The retention and documentation periods specified there are 2 to 8 years.

How do We secure Your data?

Our Platform uses SSL or TLS encryption to ensure the security of data processing and to protect the transmission of content or contact requests that you send to us. We have also implemented numerous security measures (“technical and organizational measures”) for example encryption or need to know access, to ensure the most complete protection of Personal Data processed through our Platform.

Nevertheless, internet-based data transmissions can always have security gaps, so that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. And databases or data sets that include Personal Data may be breached inadvertently or through wrongful intrusion. Upon becoming aware of a data breach, We will notify all affected individuals whose Personal Data may have been compromised as expeditiously as possible after which the breach was discovered.

Is data transferred internationally?

We may transfer Your Personal Data as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In order to provide adequate protection for Your Personal Data when it is transferred, We have contractual arrangements regarding such transfers.
