Teamplay LLC (“Company”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share data in relation to the Teamplay LFG App (“App”) for Discord. Data Collected Automatically: When you install and use the App, we collect limited data, such as your Discord server configurations, selected channels, and notification preferences.
User-Generated Content: Any posts or commands initiated through the App are processed and displayed as part of Teamplay.gg.
Presence Data: With the Discord Presence Intent, the App reads your Discord online status and your current game activity (the game shown in your Discord presence). We use this only to determine your real-time availability — so we can match you with teammates who are online and playing the same game, and reduce irrelevant notifications. Your current availability ("online and playing game X") may be shown to other Teamplay users as part of teammate matching on teamplay.gg and in LFG listings inside Discord. You can opt out at any time by disabling activity sharing in your Discord privacy settings or by unlinking your Discord account from Teamplay, which stops any association of presence with your Teamplay profile. We store your current availability as a single record that each new update overwrites, alongside a short-lived event journal that is deleted automatically after 30 days and is used only for aggregate statistics about which games our community plays. If your presence stops being updated, the availability record itself is deleted after 30 days, so we never keep activity data for longer than that. We do not build long-term presence profiles, we do not use presence for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or share this data with third parties.
2. Purpose of Data Collection
The collected data allows the App to notify you of relevant gaming opportunities and configure channels based on server preferences. All personal data collected is processed in line with our legitimate business interests and to fulfill user requests through the App.
3. How We Share Data
Data collected via the App is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Information collected within Discord is managed per Discord’s policies and is used strictly for enhancing the App’s performance and functionalities.
4. Security Measures
We employ industry-standard measures to safeguard your data and prevent unauthorized access or use. However, data transmitted through the App may still be vulnerable to breaches inherent to online services.
5. Your Rights
